Abhishek (Abhi) Bagusetty is an Assistant Computational Scientist in the Performance Engineering Group at the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF), part of Argonne National Laboratory. He earned his Ph.D. in Computational Modeling and Simulation (Chemical Engineering) from the University of Pittsburgh and joined the ALCF in 2020. His research focuses on high-performance computing (HPC), performance engineering and optimization of scientific applications for leadership-class supercomputers, GPU programming models - including SYCL, CUDA, and OpenCL and molecular simulations of materials, with applications in catalysis and low-dimensional materials. His work emphasizes developing portable, scalable software and optimizing application performance across heterogeneous computing architectures to enable efficient execution on next-generation exascale systems.
