Amal Gueroudji, Ph.D., is an Assistant Computer Scientist at the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory whose research spans high-performance and distributed systems, scientific workflows, and AI for science. Amal earned her Ph.D. from Université Grenoble Alpes, with research focused on integrating large-scale simulations with distributed task-based in situ data analytics to improve scientific productivity while preserving the performance of scientific workflows. At Argonne, Amal works on data and workflow infrastructures for scientific discovery, with current interests including federated AI systems, HPC-scale semantic memory, provenance for distributed and agentic workflows, and dynamic data services that bridge data, compute, and reasoning across scientific environments.
