Brian Cornille is a Member of Technical Staff at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
He has worked at AMD since November 2021. At AMD he supports customer applications via porting and optimization targeting AMD Instinct GPUs. He focuses especially on supporting Fortran codes.
Prior to working at AMD he completed his PhD in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
During that time he worked on computational plasma physics under the guidance of Professor Carl Sovinec.
He also completed his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics with a focus on Scientific Computing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
