Andrew Myers

Andrew Myers is a member of the Center for Computational Sciences and Engineering (CCSE) at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). His current research focuses on the design and implementation of scalable parallel algorithms for conducting particle and particle-mesh simulations on current and upcoming supercomputing architectures, particularly in the context of adaptive mesh refinement. These algorithms have applications to the modeling of, for example, large-scale structure formation in cosmology, plasma acceleration in particle accelerators, and the solids phase in multi-phase flow problems.
