Erik Palmer, LBNL

Erik Palmer is a Scientific Computing Software Engineer at the Center for Computational Science and Engineering (CCSE) in the Applied Mathematics and Computational Research Division of the Berkeley Lab. In 2019, he completed his PhD in Applied and Computational Mathematics at the University of South Carolina where he developed a parallel model for telechelic polymer behavior under steady and oscillating shear flows. In his current role he supports development and sustainability of the AMReX software framework through documentation, testing and community building.
