Glenn Hammond, SNL

Glenn Hammond is a computational geohydrologist and reactive transport modeler who employs state of the art numerical methods and computational science to simulate subsurface fluid flow and reactive biogeochemical transport on supercomputers. He has over 20 years of experience programming C/C++, Fortran, Java, and scripting languages (e.g. Python) and over 15 years of experience developing and executing scalable codes on massively parallel supercomputers. Glenn is one of the primary architects of the open source, petascale reactive flow and multicomponent geochemical transport code PFLOTRAN. He employs PFLOTRAN to simulate reactive multiphase flow and transport processes in the subsurface.
