Hui Zhou

Dr. Hui Zhou is a principal research software engineer at Argonne National Laboratory.  He is a member of the core MPICH development team. Before joining the MPICH team in 2018, he was a computational physicist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where his research area was optical image simulation and optical metrology. He switched his career on the recognition that scientific software has been a crucial foundation for scientific discovery and our current software development remains inefficient and unsustainable. His current research interest is in runtime systems in high-performance computing and he is passionate about scalable software development.
