Lev Gorenstein is a Solutions Architect at Globus (a University of Chicago non-profit service), enabling research data management at scale. A chemist by training, Lev previously conducted research in the area of computational chemistry, molecular modelling, and protein dynamics at Purdue’s Markey Center for Structural Biology, and worked at the Purdue Rosen Center for Advanced Computing (RCAC) as a Senior Computational Scientist. At RCAC, Lev provided advanced application management and support, as well as HPC education and engagement for HPC users at Purdue and nationwide. His interest in computational and data management workflows led him to his current position at Globus, where he facilitates Globus adoption and applications worldwide.
