Robert Chen Robert Chen is a Computer Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). He works on two HPC projects: maintaining general performance portability by contributing to the RAJA library, and porting a radiation transport package for use on GPUs via OpenMP target offloading. His work has also led to collaboration with Nvidia on the evaluation of performance of code ported to the Sierra supercomputer with streaming capability. He holds Ph.D. and B.S. degrees from UCLA in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, respectively.
